WTHWas That?
Report a sighting

Community rules

  1. Be kind to witnesses. People report because they were startled. Mocking a person (as opposed to a planet) gets you removed.
  2. Show your work. "It was Starlink" is an opinion; "Starlink Group 10-21 passed at 9:02 PM heading SE" is an answer. Link sources.
  3. No personal information about other people: no names, addresses, plates or faces of strangers. Blur or crop before uploading.
  4. No sexual content, no gore, nothing involving minors. Removed on sight; the worst of it is reported to the authorities.
  5. Sensitive but allowed content (injuries from a fall while skywatching, say) is blurred by default. Viewers opt in.
  6. No spam, no affiliate links, no AI-generated "sightings". Synthetic videos get flagged and removed.
  7. Serious speculation is welcome in Theories & deep dives. Keep claims and evidence separate.

Report anything with the "Report a problem" link on every post. Three independent reports hide content until a person reviews it.
